To add to all of the computer fun I've had recently, yesterday I dropped my Palm m125, sending batteries flying everywhere. I hurried and grabbed them and put them back in, but the Palm had already gone into a semi-reset state. When I turned it back on, I was presented with a screen asking
"Erase all data? Up button for Yes, any other button for No.". Not wanting to erase anything (although there was little new data on the device), I pushed any other button numerous times, only to be presented with the same screen. So, my Palm is reset. And, due to a last minute baseball game invitation, it's still at the office.
Nicely, I no longer have to worry about how well a HotSync against a fairly fresh Mac OS X re-installation (clean install) would perform.
