Monday night, for the first time in roughly ten years, I did homework. After two or three semesters of procrastination or forgetfulness, I finally squeezed in under the registration deadline and am now happily back in Math. Way back in math. sigh. I was hoping to test higher than I did on the placement test, but it turned out that my memory was scattered. Some operations and factorings I remembered very well. Others I was able to apply with a decent amount of effort. On others, I failed miserably.
Still, it's kindof fun to be back in school. Although my math homework (playing catchup for missing the first class) kept me up until one o'clock this morning. Happily, I have a shiny new TI 89 graphing calculator.
I didn't sleep well last night. After staying up finishing homework, I tried going to sleep, but tossed and turned for a while instead. I had a lot of nervous energy and couldn't get comfortable. I finally fell asleep sometime after 2:14 am (last time I remember glaring at the clock), only to be awakened by a very loud thunderclap at 4:04 am. Ugh.
I do love my new calculator though. It'll do until I have the smarts, time, and reasons to use Mathematica.
